Welcome to the Inn Between. In Between what? Time, Space, Worlds, states-of-consciousness...does it really matter? You've arrived, and it's time for a break. Rest, relax, share some stories maybe. Have a drink at the bar, or some food. Meet other patrons, or simply spend some time alone. When you leave, you won't remember this place--what happens in the Inn, stays in the Inn. So enjoy your visit.

Rules

Please don't destroy the Rooms.

This is a sandbox designed primarily to allow chat and social interactions, perhaps with other elements as needed/requested.

Lastly, if needed, these rules may be subject to change and will be announced.

Setting Information

Doesn't really matter how you arrived here--you're here now. Welcome to an ever-changing Inn, that exists who knows where? Who knows when? Does it really matter? There are multiple common areas, each with Innkeeps and Bartenders who will help answer questions/provide food and drink. There are a number of different rooms to stay in, from all sorts of places and times, as the Inn tries to be accommodating, as well as a hint of grounds beyond (like a garden).

Each Post will be a different setting, and replies should go there for that setting.

This is the social center of the Inn, and depending on mood of the patrons or the time of day or the square root of alpha-carotene-Pi, a different 'social center' is possible. All have capable staff though, and all are open to all patrons. Bertha however, seems to transcend and go where-ever she's needed.

The Classic!

Ye old Inn and Tavern; a classic setting familiar to Western European (and those based on it) adventurers. Grog, mead, suckling pig, roast goose or beef, root vegetables and stew. A good place for drinking songs and boisterous stories. The usual innkeepers here are Catherine, and Samuel.

Futuristic!

Smooth and curving lines and gleaming clean surfaces! This setting seems a bit advanced to most, but is just as cozy as any other. You might not understand what the food or drink looks like, but be assured it is good and safe for consumption. The innkeepers here do not discriminate based on species--it's not in their programming. Innkeepers found here include P.O.D.O.B v 2.7 and R.I.S.T.

To ensure our innkeepers remain compliant with quality customer care, please do not hack, disassemble, reprogram, or otherwise interfere with their normal duties.

Modern!

A cozy and sophisticated style, with soft music playing in the background and games of chance (either dice or cards) always available. Ring-a-ding-ding. Philip and Marguerite are found here.

The Relaxed and Breezey

This common area has a breeze blowing through, bringing with it scents of ocean-salt and citrus fruit. Comfortable seating, with the sun always out of one's eye. Ramon and Dipa are your hosts here.

This area of the Inn brings with it hints of ocean-scented wind and the sound of waves lapping against beach. Open and pleasantly warm, fans are provided to help bring your own breeze, and there is plenty of shade available to relax with as well.

This area of the Inn has been designed after classic cabins of a North American and Northern European style. Less a hunting lodge though, than a gathering place for warm drinks and stews, and curling up in front of the fire.

An exotic area with rich colors and richer flavors, savory and slightly sweet spices fill the air. Always at a pleasantly dry heat during the day, while the nights are cool with a hint of wind.

Clean lines and silhouettes, curves and unobtrusive architecture designed to please the eye. Any views outside show a night sky of stars and often alien landscapes.

This space and area of the Inn has been designed after a classic Western European Country Cottage, albeit a very nice one. The common area leads out to a garden, with small suites for the bedrooms with attached baths.
